CHANGES MADE 03/22/2025:
- We have added the chosen elevator,
- changed the rec room/family room by demo'ing it and rebuilding the walls on the existing footings ,
- moved the kitchen to this new room.
- Added a bathroom beside the elevator on the main floor and
- extended the garage forward by 6 feet.

Bowles Enterprises LLC (RCE-7309), owned by Doug and Raini Bowles, is requesting quotes for supplies required for a significant remodel and addition to a residential property at the above address.
The existing 1970s tri-level ranch, which is currently inaccessible, will be transformed into a handicap-accessible home to accommodate four medically complex grandchildren whom Doug & Raini Bowles are raising as their own. The renovation will also address the future accessibility needs of Doug Bowles, who sustained a spinal cord injury in 2023.
The grandchildren live with a progressively debilitating connective tissue disorder (hEDS) accompanied by dystonic involuntary muscle movements, and all are on the autism spectrum.
They each have unique mobility challenges, with three of the kids using wheelchairs for pain management or extended periods of ambulation, and two requiring orthotic leg braces.
Than there's Doug! Doug Bowles, the owner and general contractor, became an incomplete paraplegic in 2023, experiencing painful, challenging, and fatiguing ambulation, as well as severe muscle spasms. Consequently, this remodel is vital for creating a more accessible living environment for both the kids and Doug.
WE ARE REQUESTING HELP & DONATIONS
We are also unabashedly requesting help, discounts, even donations of time, skills and resources wherever possible because of our unique circumstance. The Treasure Valley is and has been our home and we have given generously for many years. Now we need help, and we are asking, please, help us where you can, to create a safe and functional space for our family and we will continue to give and raise kids that give back!
